"Jávea sublime, immense, the best I know for painting... I'll be there for a few days. If you were here, two months." This is what "the painter of light," the most emblematic Valencian painter, wrote to his wife.
It was not just a painting.
It was a way of feeling the Mediterranean.
Years later, that same essence inspired the birth of the Marenostrum model, from Levantino.

THE BEZEL AND THE CASE
OCTAGONAL GEOMETRY

Marenostrum's bezel is built on a precise form:
- Firm, horizontal, and vertical main lines provide stability and presence.
- More contained transitions at the corners soften the overall look and adapt it to the organic rhythm of the watch.
The brushed 316L steel finish reinforces this duality: structure and calm.
It captures light in a controlled manner, without aggressive glares, projecting a sense of silent solidity.
A bezel that doesn't compete with the dial, but rather frames it. It doesn't distract, it orders.
The sphere
RIPPLE MARKS ON THE SUBMERGED SAND
Its surface is worked with horizontal lines in relief and bas-relief that do not respond to a trend, but to a memory.
The drawing the sea leaves on the sand as it gently recedes.
Imperfect, repeated, serene waves.
A natural pattern that only appears when everything is calm.
This texture adds depth without resorting to excess.
It creates a play of lights, nuances, and subtle shadows that ensure the sphere is never exactly the same.
MARKERS AND WINDOW
LUMINISCENCE AND CLARITY
The markers, white with a black outline, are designed for function and clarity.
Each index is sharply defined, without interference, creating a clean contrast against the turquoise background.
They don't seek prominence.
They seek precision.
The hands follow the same principle: immediate readability, visual balance, and coherence with the overall design.
The Super-LumiNova treatment ensures that both markers and hands remain visible when the light fades, extending the watch's utility beyond daylight hours, like that last reflection lingering on the sea after sunset.
The date window, integrated without magnification, respects the dial's continuity, present without disrupting the rhythm.
THE BRACELET
FLUIDITY, BALANCE, AND LIGHT
The Marenostrum bracelet naturally extends the watch's language. It starts wide at the case and gradually narrows to 17 mm at the clasp, a taper that lightens its presence on the wrist, improves comfort, and provides a more refined silhouette.
- The wide, brushed outer links convey solidity and absorb light with sobriety.
- Between them, finer links with a polished finish introduce contrast and subtle reflections, adding rhythm, depth, and dynamism to the ensemble.
